-
Yes! My prices are exactly the same as what you see on the vendor’s website. The cost to use me is already built into the price of your vacation, regardless of whether you book with a travel agent or not.

As I mentioned in the previous question, the cost to use a travel agent is already built into the price of your vacation, regardless of whether you use one or not. By not booking through a travel agent, you are paying for a service you are not receiving. I bet you didn’t know that! Vendors want you to use a travel agent. They pay me a commission after you travel.
-
I charge a planning fee when I won’t be properly compensated for servicing your vacation. For example, I charge a planning fee for all international vacations and custom family vacations because of the long hours it takes to plan the logistics behind those types of trips.
I also charge a planning fee when I am not paid by the vendor for servicing your vacation. Of course, this is my full-time job, and I need to be compensated for the work I do to ensure the trip is perfect. I don’t want to charge a fee, but I know when I must.
My fee is the compensation for the work I do for the client. My commission is the compensation for the work I do for the supplier.

If you value convenience, expert knowledge, and peace of mind—especially for complex trips—a travel agent is absolutely worth it. I have firsthand experience, know the best destinations, and can customize your trip based on your needs. Travel agents also consider factors like weather, visa requirements, and hidden fees that DIY travelers might overlook. Instead of spending hours researching flights, hotels, and excursions, I do the heavy lifting for you. I take care of logistics like transfers and special requests. And, if something goes wrong (flight cancellations, emergencies, etc.), I have your back. I will rebook your flights, find alternative accommodations, or handle issues much faster than you could on your own.

I’ve had countless overwhelmed families reach out. They booked their vacation on their own. They realized they are way in over their head. Don’t worry, I will absolutely help you!
If it is a Disney Destination vacation, you could transfer your reservation under a travel agent for free if you booked less than 30 days ago and have not paid in full.
If it is a Disney Destination vacation that can’t be transferred or a non-Disney Destination vacation, I will charge a planning fee to get compensated for taking over as the head planner of your vacation.
-
Thank you for reaching out, but even for a few questions, I will implement a planning fee. As much as I love discussing travel, this is a professional field and my full-time job. I require compensation for my assistance. Plus, if you are reaching out to a travel agent, you need a travel agent! You will most likely have more questions.

Travel agents occasionally have access to special discounts they can apply to your vacation. Sometimes you get special perks during your vacation by booking through a travel agent. It truly depends on the vacation/the vendor you are booking through, and what I have access to as your travel agent.
All of my clients with young children who are traveling to a Disney Destination will receive a special gift bag from me before their vacation. The gift bag’s purpose is to help get their kids excited about their trip! The gift bag’s content will vary from trip-to-trip and the Disney Destination the family is traveling to.

Sky Meets the Sea does not give onboard credit personally. Respectfully, please reach out to me if you need help planning an incredible cruise for your family, not if you are just looking for onboard credit.
For Disney Cruise Line, since I don’t give onboard credit, I have a special surprise sent to your stateroom on day one of the cruise!
Sometimes the cruise lines will offer onboard credit directly to their passengers. If a cruise line is offering onboard credit to guests in a promotional offer, I will apply that promotional discount, including onboard credit, to your cruise.

Sometimes! I have been very fortunate to have received complimentary travel/vacations to experience a vendor’s destination. However, most of the time, I pay to visit a theme park or foreign country to get hands-on experience traveling to that destination. Experience is a must in this industry. You must travel frequently to be a phenomenal travel agent.

When you are within two weeks of putting down a deposit towards your trip or paying my planning fee, please reach out. If you are a couple of months away from booking, please wait to reach out. I am fortunate to have a heavy client load. Families keep coming back to me for their travel needs since I do an incredible job planning their trips. My time is precious, so please reach out when you are truly ready to plan and book a trip. Plus, prices and availability are subject to change before booking. Since prices can increase at any time, I like to get a trip booked within a week of sending out your quote to ensure we can lock in the lowest price possible.
-
Absolutely! I am from Florida, but I have worked with families from all over the world, including families based in the United Kingdom, Canada, the Philippines, Australia, Japan, etc.
Please be aware that I live in the eastern time zone. Also, your vacation will be quoted and booked in USD. You are only subject to have access to American pricing and discounts by working with an American travel agent. I do not have access to any special pricing or discounts offered exclusively to residents of your country.

Yes, I do work with families who choose to stay off-site at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Unfortunately, I only work with families choosing to stay on-site and obtain a vacation package (Disney hotel + tickets) at Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, and Shanghai Disney Resort.

Yes, I could. Please know, I don’t decline a trip out of malice. I do it out of love. Sometimes, I might stop taking new clients due to a heavy client load. Other times, you might be seeking a vacation to a destination outside my planning wheelhouse. If that is the case, I will always try to refer you to another travel agent who specializes in that specific destination.
-
Yes, absolutely! Please share my phone number, email, website, etc. with your friends and family members at any time. You never have to ask me for permission since referrals help my business grow. I am thrilled to help your friends and family. Heck, even random people asking for travel agent recommendations on Facebook. Thank you for helping make Sky Meets the Sea thrive! Small businesses are built on community love and support.

I like to call myself a girl boss and a workaholic. What can I say, I love my job! With that said, I typically work 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET Monday to Saturday, but don’t be surprised if I am working on a Sunday. I just won’t take a phone call on a Sunday (not including clients on vacation). However, even if I am not working, please don’t be afraid to shoot me a text or an email after hours. I am happy to reply to it when I am back in my home office.
